Who/What: Mississippi State University Bagley College of Engineering is excited to host the upcoming Project MFG SEC Machining Competition. This innovative event will showcase the talents of machining teams from various universities across the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
The following six teams will be competing in the event:
- Auburn University
- University of Missouri
- Mississippi State University
- Texas A&M University
- University of Tennessee
- University of Arkansas
The competition will feature teams of students demonstrating their machining skills in a machining challenge designed to test their skills, precision, and problem-solving abilities. This event is an excellent opportunity for the media to witness the next generation of machining talent and innovation.
Media representatives are invited to attend and cover the competition. Interviews with participants and organizers can be arranged upon request. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the importance of machining skills in today's manufacturing industry and the impact of hands-on competitions in shaping the future workforce.
