Bagley Distance Education Coordinator
Tamra Swann began working as the Bagley College’s distance education coordinator in 2014. Her responsibilities are to assist with the facilitation and coordination of the college’s distance education programs and recruit distance education students. She works with students, faculty, technology services and other offices on campus on various BCoE graduate and distance projects.
Having worked in offices at Mississippi State since 2003, Swann says that she enjoys working with students who are returning to college.
Swann earned a bachelor’s in public relations and a master’s in agriculture and extension education from Mississippi State. She completed the New and Aspiring Leaders Professional Development program through the University Professional and Continuing Education Association and the Learning Resources Network program planner certificate program. She also completed the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning.
