John J. Ramirez-Avila, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and co-graduate coordinator, has been named an American Society of Civil Engineers Environmental and Water Resources Institute fellow. Fellows are selected based on their contributions to the field, mentorship, outreach and involvement in EWRI committees, conferences or journals.
The EWRI serves as the ASCE’s technical source for environmental and water-related issues.
The ASCE is an organization dedicated to representing members of the civil engineering profession worldwide.
